POOLE POTTERY BLUE VINE LIDDED SERVING DISH
A very attractive and very scarce lidded serving dish in the Blue Vine range manufactured by Poole Pottery. The base of this dish has a diameter across its top of approximately eight and a quarter inches. This Blue Vine serving dish is in very good condition, but as you can see from the photograph the patterning on the lid appear to be incomplete.
Blue Vine was introduced by Poole Pottery in 1994. It was very similar to the Blue Leaf pattern introduced at about the same time, but had the addition of blue grape bunches in the patterning and more of the blue mottling effect on the body of items. Many of our clients now mix and match the two patterns to great effect. The production of both patterns was discontinued by Poole Pottery several years ago.
