Saucers for the breakfast cups in the popular Chestnut range of tableware by Poole Pottery. These saucers have a diameter of approximately six inches. These Chesnut items are in very good used condition.
Chestnut was one of a series of patterns in the "Compact" shape, designed b y Robert Jefferson and first produced by Poole Pottery in the mid 1960's. It was a very practical style, designed to stack easily and safely. The range was discontinued by Poole Pottery many years ago and has now become very difficult to obtain in good condition.
