Poole Pottery Hand Painted Traditional Vase in the ZG Pattern
A gorgeous vase from Poole Pottery. The item is hand painted in tht traditional style in the rarely seen "ZG" pattern.The pot stands just approximately five and three quarter inches tall. Please see the additional photograph to view the back stamp and paintress's mark. We believe the paintress was Gladys Hallet and that the piece was produced in about 1950 but we cannot be certain as another paintress used a very similar mark. The decoration really is superb. This vase is in good condition, without damage or repair, other than the almost inevitable fine crazing to the glaze.
These early hand painted pieces are now becoming very difficult to find in good condition. Enjoy owning such a lovely item and give it pride of place in your display.
