 Poole Pottery Ice Green Fourteen Inch Oval Platter (Very Large). Slight Manufacturing Defect.

A very large and rare oval serving platter in Ice Green, manufactured by Poole Pottery. This platter measures approximately fourteen inches by just under twelve inches. It is in generally good condition but there is a pin prick sized defect in the glaze on the surface. This does little to decrease the desirability of this item but we have reduced the price to reflect the defect.

Poole Pottery produced many colour variations in their Twintone ranges, but the Ice Green and Seagull, and the Ice Green and Mushroom were amongst the most popular. However, Ice Green has not now been produced for many years and items are becoming very difficult to obtain in such good condition.
