Essential rimmed soup/cereal bowls in the Thistlewood pattern produced by Poole Pottery. These bowls have a diameter across the top of just under seven inches. These Thistlewood items are in excellent condition.

Thistlewood was one of several variants that Poole Pottery produced, based on their Broadstone pattern. The Compact shape and the background colour and glaze are identical to Broadstone, but it is decorated with the attractive Thistlewood pattern. Thistlewood and the other variations were not made in such large quantities as the basic Broadstone pattern, and were discontinued at an earlier stage.
