A very elegant and hard to find open oval serving dish in the popular Carnation (H5084) range of tableware by Royal Doulton. This dish measures approximately nine and three quarter inches by seven and a half inches and is just over two inches deep.
Minor manufacturing flaws meant that this Carnation dish was originally sold by Royal Doulton as "Second Quality" and the back stamp is marked as such (most people will not even know what that mark signifies). However the bowl is otherwise in excellent condition with no "obvious" defects. We are selling these items at a significantly reduced price to our "First Quality" items.
