Most of the storage jars produced by Hornsea Pottery had rubber sealing rings around the lid, to make the jars airtight. In time these seals deteriorate.
We are now able to offer brand new seals for the storage jars in the Tapestry, Saffron, Heirloom, Bronte and Fleur ranges. The seal fits all three sizes of jar, it just need to be stretched a little further for the large Biscuit/Flour jars. Please note that we are not yet able to provide seals for the little herb or spice jars. or for jars that are of a different shape to the patterns listed above.
