This is the very scarce lug handled large oval open roasters or serving dishes from Poole Pottery in the Broadstone pattern.

Broadstone was one of several patterns produced by Poole Pottery in the "Compact" shape. This pale sandy coloured version proved to be very popular, and since it was discontinued by Poole Pottery several years ago, we have had a constant demand for it.
