Poole Pottery Chestnut 8.5" Salad/Breakfast Plates, Seconds or Worn
Poole Pottery Chestnut Salad/Breakfast Plates, Seconds or Worn
Salad or breakfast plates from the popular Chestnut range of Poole Pottery. These plates have a diameter of approximately 8.5". These Chestnut items are in good used condition without chips, cracks or other structural damage. However we have noted that some of them have some inconsistencies in the glazing which make us believe that they may have originally been sold as seconds. They also have rather more cutlery and wear marking than we usually offer. We have adjusted the price accordingly.
Chestnut was one of the "Compact" series of patterns, designed by Robert Jefferson and first produced by Poole Pottery in the mid 1960's. It was a very practical style, designed to stack easily and safely. The range was discontinued by Poole Pottery many years ago and has now become very difficult to obtain in good condition. Do not miss the opportunity to purchase these rare items.
We currently have 7 of these items in stock, across all conditions. If there are none available for the condition selected, use the dropdown box above to see what else is available.
