This is the elegant lidded vegetable serving dish from Poole Pottery in the Parkstone range of discontinued tableware. The base has a top diameter of approximately 8.75" and is 3" deep. 

Unfortunately this item is missing it's lid and is therefore sold as a spare base.

Poole Pottery ceased producing this range some years ago and items are now becoming very difficult to obtain in such good condition.
