Poole Pottery Sherwood Breakfast Cups

Very attractive breakfast cups in the Sherwood pattern, manufactured by Poole Pottery. These cups have a diameter across the top of approximately 3.25 inches and a height of approximately 3 inches.  These Sherwood items are in excellent condition.

Thistlewood was one of several variants that Poole Pottery produced, based on their Broadstone pattern. The Compact shape and the background colour and glaze are identical to Broadstone, but it is decorated with the attractive Sherwood pattern.

Sherwood and the other variations were not made in such large quantities as the basic Broadstone pattern, and were discontinued at an earlier stage. Hence the great difficulty in finding items of this pattern in good condition. Do not miss out on the chance to purchase these scarce Sherwood items.
