 Poole Pottery Stoneware, New Forest Pony Head

A gorgeous Poole Pottery stoneware sculpture of the head of a New Forest Pony. It stands approximately 5.25" tall, inclusive of the wooden stand. It is in excellent condition without damage or repair. This Poole Pottery tortoise was designed by Barbara Linley-Adams and was only produced from 1980 to 1981. 

Poole ceased producing this stoneware range several years ago. The stoneware style has now become very much sought after by Poole Pottery collectors. As a result, the prices have soared in recent years and items are becoming very difficult to obtain in such good condition.
