Poole Pottery, Wimborne Open Sugar Bowls

Very useful open sugar bowls in the Wimborne pattern produced by Poole Pottery. These bowls stand approximately three inches tall and have a diameter across the top of approximately three and a quarter inches. Although originally sold as sugar bowls, we know that many of our clients now use these bowls for dips, sauces, rice and many other purposes.

The Wimborne range was produced by Poole Pottery in the "Compact" shape (as per Chestnut, Choisya, Azure, Parkstone, Broadstone etc) and is now seldom seen. The original production run was shorter than that of some of its contemporaries.
