Royal Doulton
ROYAL DOULTON
Royal Doulton's history can be traced back to when John Doulton purchased an interest in a London pottery in 1815, manufacturing mainly household stoneware items. Some 60 years later the company took over a factory in Stoke and became involved in the manufacture of china tableware. At the start of the 20th Century it was granted permission by the Crown to be called "Royal Doulton".
Royal Doulton has, for many decades, been one of the most prolific of tableware manufacturers. Royal Doulton is renowned throughout the world for its quality and its elegant designs. However, many hundreds of its designs are no longer being produced. We try to find such discontinued Royal Doulton designs for you.
