A beautiful lidded serving dish in the scarce Duet Carmine range from Hornsea Pottery. The diameter of the bowl across the top is approximately six and three quarter inches (it is wider lower down where it bellies out). It is in excellent condition.
Hornsea Pottery went our of business serveral years ago. Duet Carmine was made in the later years of Hornsea's existance. It was not produced in such large quantities as some of the other ranges and has now become very difficult to find in good condition.
