Selling Your Tableware

As specialists in discontinued china we source our stock from the secondhand market, so we may be interested in purchasing your unwanted tableware.

However, it very much depends on what you have and where in the country you are located. Furthermore, we will only purchase items that are in perfect "as new" condition. Items with any damage or significant wear such as, fading, chips, cracks, crazing, noticeable scratching or rubbing of the glaze will always be rejected.

If you have items for sale in excellent condition, please email us at enquiries@replaceyourchina.com with a list of those items and with the area (including postcode) from which any potential collection would need to be made. We also need your best contact telephone number. If it is something of interest we will make you an offer subject to condition.

Assuming the offer is acceptable to you, simply email us your acceptance with your full contact details. We will arrange a collection as soon as possible, but please be aware that as we are a small family business, covering the entire country, it can take up to 12 weeks. 

Before contacting us to sell your discontinued china it is worth noting the following points: - 

  • We do not buy from overseas, Isles or Northern Ireland, or inside the M25 circular.
  • Any offer made is non-negotiable. We will not be offended if you say no (politely). The reality is we are offered far more stock than we need and are able to buy, and while we strive to offer a fair market price we are in business to make a profit.
  • We do not quote for decorative ware or collectibles unless they form part of a larger tableware collection.
  • We do not quote for hotel ware or catering ware.
  • We do not quote for odd pieces of very small collections e.g. less than 20 pieces.
