Poole Pottery Blue Moon Lidded Butter Dish
A beautiful lidded butter dish in the Blue Moon range from Poole Pottery.This has a slight flaw on the underside of the base. It looks as though the glaze has possibly bubbled in the firing process and that the bubble has then broken off exposing the white body beneath it. Please see the photograph to view this minor defect which does nothing to detract from the desireability of this scarce item. It is otherwise in excellent condition.
Blue Moon was part of the Cameo collection of colour combinations produced by Poole Pottery, but discontinued many years ago. It has now become difficult to obtain in good condition so make sure that you purchase your requirements while we still have such excellent examples in stock.
