Very elegant and hard to find coffee pots in the Thistlewood pattern produced by Poole Pottery. These coffee pots stand approximately eight and a half inches tall, to the top of the knob on the lid. These Thistlewood items are in excellent condition.
Thistlewood was one of several variants that Poole Pottery produced, based on their Broadstone pattern. The Compact shape and the background colour and glaze are identical to Broadstone, but it is decorated with the attractive Thistlewood pattern. Thistlewood and the other variations were not made in such large quantities as the basic Broadstone pattern, and were discontinued at an earlier stage. Hence the great difficulty in finding items of this pattern in good condition. Do not miss out on the chance to purchase these scarce Thistlewood items.
