After you place your order there are two main steps in getting your order to you; processing and shipping.
Our internal processing involves:
- The retrieval of your ordered items from our warehouse.
- Packaging of your order.
- Dispatch and/or collection of your order to/by our shipping courier.
We aim to process all orders within 2 to 3 working days. Often we are much quicker, dispatching the next working day, but it can sometimes take up to 5 working days during busy periods, e.g. pre Christmas; so please allow plenty of time for your order if it is time sensitive.
If you do need your order in time for a specific event, please feel free to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. You may also choose to select a "Priority Handling" option at checkout which essentially means you jump the queue, shortening the processing time to 1-2 working days.
NB We do not offer a collection service for local customers at this time. The address listed on this website is our Registered Office. It is not where we keep our stock and we are unable to accept visitors due to insurance restrictions.
We use a number of different couriers and their services for different destinations and parcel weights. However, the main three are Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DHL. Wherever possible, we use express and priority services to reduce the risk of loss or breakage during transit. We reserve the right to choose an alternative courier to the one advertised if we feel it is a better option to get your order to you safely and timely.
Delivery times are estimated at checkout. However, these are estimates based on the worst case scenario and delivery is often much quicker.
All deliveries under 3kg are shipped via Royal Mail 24.
All deliveries to mainland UK over 3kg are shipped via DPD Next Day. Deliveries to Highlands and Islands, inc. Northern Ireland over 3kg are shipped via DPD 2 Day Service.
NB While these services are timed services they have not been guaranteed by the couriers since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and delivery times can vary around the country, particularly in high volume areas such as London, Bristol and Greater Manchester. Please do not panic if your order does not arrive the day after it has been dispatched, and allow an extra couple of days before reaching out to us. It can also depend on how late in the day DPD collect from us.
IMPORTANT - All overseas orders are considered DDU ("Delivered Duty Unpaid"), and may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and handling charges in the destination country. This includes all EU Member States since 1st January 2021. MrPottery Ltd t/a ReplaceYourChina.com has no responsibility for these charges which are payable by the customer.
We use DHL Global Express for Canada, UAE, USA and Rest of the World (well most of it!)
We use Parcelforce Worldwide Express or DPD Air Classic for most of Europe.
We regret that we do not ship to Italy at this time.
Please note that we are unable to ship International orders to commercial addresses. This includes hotels and PO Box facilities.
If your parcel has not arrived as expected we recommend first checking the tracking information sent to you by our courier. If the parcel appears to be moving through the network it will likely be with you within a couple of days. If it appears to be stuck e.g. at the airport or Customs, by all means get in touch and we will raise a support request with the courier.
