This is a spare base for the butter dish in the discontinued Denby Encore pattern. 

Encore was discontinued by Denby Pottery many years ago, and items have become increasingly difficult to obtain in such excellent condition, partly because it is such a popular choice even today. Make sure that you purchase your items when we have some in stock.
