This is an oval serving platter from the now defunct Hornsea Pottery in their Contrast range. These impressive items are a "must have" for anybody with this eye catching range of tableware.

Hornsea Pottery discontinued the Contrast range in the early 90's after a production run of nearly 20 years. The pattern is still very popular, but items are now becoming difficult to obtain in good condition.
